Promotion, Tenure, Renewal, and Professional Assessment

The processes for promotion and tenure for AAUP members are governed by the AAUP Collective Bargaining Agreement and by Senate Bill 22/23-05.

Representatives of AAUP maintain a Sharepoint site with helpful materials for faculty, including submission deadlines. The site includes information about content to include in dossiers, templates for dossiers, and tips for using Interfolio to submit dossiers. Several videos are posted to walk faculty through the process. The site also includes best practices for Department Evaluation Committees and DEC chairs.
