To graduate with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration students must complete 54 credits in total. Requirements consist of 21 credits of required foundational courses, 18 credits of required core and advanced courses, and 15 credits of elective courses in a declared area of concentration.
All Business Administration majors must declare at least one concentration, either before the end of the second semester of sophomore year or upon transfer into the major. Concentrations available are management, sport management, marketing, and/or international business.
All Business Administration majors need a cumulative GPA of 2.7 for graduation; students having an overall GPA below 2.7 for two consecutive semesters will need to re-apply to the program once they reach again a 2.7 GPA.
A minimum of 24 semester hours of business courses must be completed in residence at Eastern. Transfer students with more than 30 credits should consult with the department chair or the Academic Success Center (ASC) as early as possible. Students who started the Business Administration major in a catalog term prior to fall 2021 have the option of completing additional concentrations and should check their program requirements on e-web; they may contact the department chair, Dr. Emiliano Villanueva (villanuevae@easternct.edu) or their advisor if interested in switching to the current program.
The Sport and Leisure Management program has been discontinued.
