Sport Management Concentration

All Business Administration majors must declare at least one concentration, either before the end of the second semester of sophomore year or upon transfer into the major.

Concentration Requirements

A minimum of 15 credit hours from the following 200, 300 and 400 level elective courses are required to complete a Sport Management Concentration.

Required electives (12 credits)

  • BUS 240 Introduction to Sport Management - 3 credits                                              
  • BUS 340 Facility Design in Sport Management - 3 credits                                           
  • BUS 342 Leadership - 3 credits                                                                                              
  • BUS 411 Sport in Society - 3 credits                                                                                     

Choose 1 additional elective (3 credits)  

  • BUS 250 Business Law - 3 credits 
  • BUS 326 Sales Management - 3 credits                                                
  • ECO 331 Economics of Sports - 3 credits
  • BUS 343 Sport Marketing - 3 credits                                                             
  • BUS 410 Research Methods in Management - 3 credits
  • BUS 467 Seminar in Sport Management - 3 credits
