Achievement First is a growing network of 41 non-profit, high-performing K-12 public charter schools in Connecticut, New York, and Rhode Island. In order to make long-lasting and transformative change, they believe in focusing on what they know to work: serving all students, growing in our communities, sharing and learning from others, and committing to innovation.
Achievement First operates two public charter high schools in Connecticut: Achievement First Hartford High School in Hartford and Achievement First Amistad High School in New Haven. Both schools serve grades 9 through 12, offering a rigorous academic curriculum designed to ensure 100% college acceptance. They focus on SAT preparation, intensive college counseling, and personalized tutoring. In addition to academics, students can participate in various extracurricular activities, including sports, arts, and leadership development programs.
