Eastern Connecticut State University encourages all academically prepared students who want to earn a college degree to apply for admission, regardless of their citizenship or immigration status. This includes students who may be learning of their immigration status for the first time during the admissions process. The review of applications for undocumented students, with or without Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status, takes place in the same way it does for applicants who are U.S. citizens and other permanent residents.
