On Tuesday, April 5, the World Languages and Cultures Department warmly welcomes back two of its recent graduates for a VIRTUAL conversation about their budding careers.
The Alumni Forum is a regular event in the World Language Department hosts. It is an opportunity for current Eastern students to learn and ask questions about the professional journeys of Spanish majors or other language minors. The informal, casual conversational format is meant to foster a connection between current students and alumni.
This year’s panel features two recent graduates, Ashely Smith, BA Spanish ’20 and MS Early Childhood Education ’21, and Natalia Barragan, BA Spanish ’19.
Ashley is completing her first year as an elementary school teacher in a bilingual third grade class in southwestern Connecticut. Natalia serves as the HR coordinator for a school district in southcentral Connecticut.
Any and all Eastern students are welcome to join the conversation.
