At the beginning of the fall the campus greeted us with a world of less-than-full parking lots, closed doors, Plexiglass, disinfectants, and loud quiet. Staff, students and faculty alike faced challenges. Due to health reasons, some faculty members had to teach virtually to keep their families safe, while others were able to teach on-ground or in the hybrid mode. However, it was students who bore the brunt, having to isolate themselves in their dorm rooms and only going out to classes or to retrieve their meals. Their mental, emotional and social lives suffered tremendously. This was recognized by the Administration, which decided, once again, to allow them to put up to three classes on a credit / no credit basis.
