Donate to help girls' education in Haiti!
Dr. Bacholle’s French 331- Perspectives on Women's Issues class is once again working to raise money to support the secondary education of young women in Les Palmes, Haiti.
As in past years, Dr. Bacholle has challenged and empowered her students to be the drivers of change. Students develop and execute fundraising initiatives to support annual scholarships for girls at the College Jean Bruny in Les Palmes. Annual tuition to College Jean Bruny is $180. These scholarships not only provide a brighter future for the students, but also buoy the spirits and opportunities for their families.
Determined to not let the Covid-19 pandemic derail their class’ ability to help, the students in FRE 331 have organized a Go Fund Me site. The class aims to raise enough money to support three scholarships.
Please consider helping to provide an education to young women in Les Palmes. Every bit helps!
