Korean Samul Ensemble

MUS 113: Korean Samul Ensemble (.5 credits) This course is repeatable for credit.

Mondays 12-12:50

This ensemble is open to any student on campus. The Samul Ensemble focuses on traditional music and instruments of Korea. Students learn to play a variety of instruments in this ensemble as well as to learn the cultural heritage of the music they are performing. No previous experience is necessary for this ensemble other than a willingness to engage in music making from a non-western tradition. Please contact Dr. Okon Hwang for more information.
