Support eligible employees participation in professional development activities (attend conferences, seminars, workshops).
Support member’s involvement in activities that will increase their professional understanding and skills pertaining to their areas of responsibilities, by enrolling in courses or training activities.
Encourage established members to develop networking relationships within and outside of the University community.
Professional Development
Members are able to receive up to $2000 for professional development in the first 5 years of their employment at Eastern.
Funding Criteria
Funds are available for professional development who are in the first six (6) years of employment or first three (3) years in a new position or reassignment
