The Eastern LSAMP Summer Research Institute is a required two-week residential program in which the scholars will participate in faculty-defined research activities.
The required 2025 two-week residential Eastern LSAMP Summer Research Institute runs Sunday, July 13, 2025, through Friday, July 25, 2025. Scholars will arrive to Eastern’s campus on Sunday, July 13, 2025. Scholars will not stay on campus over the weekend. Out-of-state students and students with special circumstances should speak with the Eastern LSAMP Institutional Coordinator. At the end of week 1, scholars will depart campus on Friday, July 18, 2025 and return to campus on Sunday, July 20, 2025. Scholars must provide their own transportation to and from campus on those dates. Scholars will also need to bring their own toilet paper, linens, toiletries, etc. for their stay on campus. Scholars will be held to housing contract/university policies.
