The past year has seen much progress on the Eastern Connecticut State University campus. Five new majors launched in fall 2014 now have more than 300 students in them! Faculty and student achievements in 2014-15 included national presentations by students and major faculty awards. New facilities-highlighted by the Fine Arts Instructional Center-as well as institutional milestones such as improvements in national ranking also marked the year. An expansion of the on-campus WorkHub with corporate partner Cigna was just one example of the expansion of experiential learning opportunities for students.
As always, the University is focused on providing students with an academically challenging learning environment that provides each student with opportunities for personal development, intellectual growth, and engagement in a variety of on- and off-campus applied learning experiences.
A number of academic measures-graduation rates, national rankings and other measures-further indicate that Eastern is committed to providing each student with an outstanding liberal arts education. To find out more about how we met this commitment in 2014-15, please take a few minutes to review this annual report.
