Eastern students enjoy a broad range of on-campus experiences designed to promote academic, social, and personal development. Student Activities staff work with other offices in the Division of Student Affairs, as well as faculty and housing staff, to provide an integrated student life program.

Women of color retreat group photo

'Women of Color Retreat' focuses on community and empowerment

The Women’s Center hosted its first “Women of Color Retreat” on Oct. 25–26, offering a weekend of empowerment, connection and self-discovery for young women on campus. The retreat featured speakers, workshops and activities.

Eastern Connecticut State University’s Campus Activity Board (CAB) again earned various accolades at this year’s National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Providence Conference. The meeting took place Oct. 24-26 at the Rhode Island Convention Center.

Eastern to appear on Amazon Prime Video series 'The College Tour'

Eastern Connecticut State University will be featured on Amazon Prime's "The College Tour" next spring as one of the show's season 13 episodes. Filming took place on Eastern’s campus Oct. 7-11, showcasing a diverse group of 10 students and alumni who represent life at Connecticut's only public liberal arts university.
