During the Open Add/Drop period, students may register for up to 19.5 credits, if they meet the following criteria:
- Have attended Eastern full-time for one semester.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 2.7 or better.
Students may register for up to 21 credits if they meet the following Criteria:
- Have successfully carried at least 18 credits in a previous semester at Eastern.
- Have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better
*No student will be able to exceed 21 credits in any given semester.*
*On rare occasions, exceptions to the course load limits can be made. Exceptions to these polices must be approved by submitting an Academic Appeal. (Submitting an Appeal does not guarantee approval.)*
IMPORTANT NOTE: Registration exceeding 18 credits per semester will result in an over-registration fee. Please check with the Bursar's Office for the per credit fee.
