Time Conflict with Courses

Students wishing to register for two or more courses, which have overlapping meeting times, either in part or total, must have an agreement from all instructors involved before registering for the course which creates the conflict.

To obtain approval for a time conflict, the student should send an email to ALL instructors involved seeking their approval for the time conflict. If both instructors reply that they approve the conflict, that approval can be forwarded to registrar@easternct.edu for review and processing.

Example Email:

Hello Professor Smith and Professor Brown,

My name is Jennifer Smith, ID 10123456, and I am looking to register for ART 100-01 (CRN 11111), but there is a time conflict with ECO 201-02 (CRN 22222). Would I be able to work with you to make up for this conflict?

If you both approve this conflict, please reply that you approve so the Registrar's Office can process the request.

Thank you!

**If, for some reason, you are unable to access your Eastern email, you will need to complete the Time Conflict Permission Form. This must receive instructor signatures and contain all relevant course information and then brought to the Registrar's Office.
