The Intercultural Center at Eastern Connecticut State University is a safe and welcoming space that fosters inclusivity through diverse programs, including panels, cultural events, and collaborations with clubs and organizations. As a volunteer, I have become more engaged on campus, forming meaningful connections with students and staff. I’ve enjoyed participating in the 'A Seat at the Table' panel, this event allowed me to share my experiences as a student of color at ECSU. And as former BSU President we collaborated on events with the IC such as game night, minority meet and greet and more! The Intercultural Center strives to be a place for all students to enjoy."

The Intercultural Center provided a space for me to engage in meaningful interactions with people from diverse backgrounds. It’s impacted me to have an open mind, welcome multiple perspectives and enhance my interpersonal skills. I have a greater appreciation for diversity and promoting inclusivity because of it.
