The Center for Instructional Technology (CIT) supports the application and integration of technology across the curriculum and provides essential support services for the use of technology in teaching, learning, and research. To accomplish these strategic goals, the team works independently and in collaboration with other ITS teams, other University departments, and external organizations and companies.

CIT staff members are ITS employees dedicated to serving the academic community. CIT represents the academic community's interests within the ITS department, and CIT serves as a consultation service for academic projects. CIT is managed by the Director of Support Services, Mike Palumbo, and includes Anik Vasington, Mauricio Calpa, Kathryn Rasimas, and Liz Bartoshevich.

The CIT Resource Center is open during regular business hours, contact us by email at cit@easternct.edu.

CIT Resource Center

The CIT Resource Center is open to faculty and staff during normal business hours and offers them a place to meet with CIT, or work independently. A number of workstations are available and are equipped with the latest software and hardware for working with a variety of media including:

  • Scanners
  • Slide Scanner
  • Color Printers
  • Web and Graphics Software
  • Video/Sound Editing Software

If you have a project or a process and you think there is an easier way, technology probably makes it possible. We can show you how to best use the latest technology. You can explore new technology in CIT that you might later use in the classroom or work on projects with other faculty members. Using the Resource Center does not require an appointment, though you can arrange one if you want to work with a particular staff member.

Adjunct Faculty as well as full-time faculty should consider the Resource Center an extension of their own offices. If it's more convenient for you, come before and after your classes, use the machines, check email, or simply catch up on your work.

We make computers crystal clear!
