The Purchasing Department at Eastern Connecticut State University is responsible for overseeing all major purchases on behalf of the University.  The department also provides professional services with the objective of ensuring that all goods and services are purchased in a cost-effective, legal and ethical manner. Purchasing is a service unit created to support the educational and research mission of the University and in compliance with the State Statutes for the State of Connecticut.
