The Office of Financial Aid provides current and prospective students with the financial aid information, guidance, and timely monetary assistance they need in pursuit of a college education. Aid support ranges from grants and scholarships to loans and student employment.

Types of Aid

Aid Basics

Scholarships, grants, loans and employment are available to help finance your education. Students must be matriculated and seeking a degree for grants and federal loans.

FAFSA

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used by students and their families to apply for financial aid. Watch this video for details. Learn More

Scholarships

Scholarships do not have to be repaid. They are typically awarded based on academic achievement or other talents, sometimes in combination with financial need. Learn More

Grants

Grants are based on financial need and don’t have to be repaid. While Pell Grants guarantee funding to eligible students, other grants have limited funding. Learn More

Loans

Loans include federally-funded and privately funded programs. Loans must be repaid over time and interest rates vary. They require at least half-time enrollment. Learn More
