Asian Studies Expo is an exhibition that highlights academic and career opportunities related to Asian Studies. The topic will cover Asia, Asian Influence, and Asians in the U.S. The exhibition can educate the Eastern community about Asian cultures, traditions, and histories, promoting cross-cultural understanding and appreciation. By showcasing students' research and artworks of the rich and diverse cultures, histories, and contributions of Asians, this exhibition can help BIPOC students see themselves in a positive light, fostering a sense of belonging and pride.

2023 Call for Submission

The Asian Studies Minor Program announces the call for submissions for its first Asian Studies Expo (Nov.9 - Nov 15). All Eastern students are invited to submit a research poster or Creative works on a topic related to Asia / Asian Influence / Asian in the U.S. Students can submit any work from a previous or current class. All submissions will be included in the Exhibition at the Wood Support Center 2nd floor Student Gallery at Eastern, and there will be an opening reception on November 9. at 5 p.m. with Asian delights.
