Situated in the multi-cultural town of Willimantic, it's only fitting that Eastern embraces diversity. From honoring activists of the past each year to welcoming to campus historically marginalized students of the present, Eastern continues to make a name for itself as a college that attracts diverse and talented students, faculty and staff.

Distinguished Award Ceremonies: Exemplary members of the Eastern community were recognized during the spring semester's annual distinguished award ceremonies - events in honor of Martin Luther King Jr., Ella Grasso and Cesar Chavez.

Latin American/Caribbean Conference: The second annual Latin American and Caribbean Studies Conference occurred on April 29, featuring presentations from nine Eastern professors on a variety of subjects and research topics. Read more
