We met our freshman year in Crandall Hall where we both lived. We would see each other in the lobby or just hanging out with our doors open as we walked around the dorm. The passing each other and smiling became stopping to say hi, and eventually hanging out getting to know each other talking, laughing, and watching TV all night long. By our second semester it was official, and we never looked back. We spent our last three years in Occum Hall forming a bond that would last a lifetime. We graduated in 1998, got married in 2000 and welcomed our first son, Aidan, into our lives in 2003. Our second son, Tristan, arrived in 2006, and our family would be complete in 2013 with our youngest son, Kylan, joining the team. Aidan is now a senior at ECSU keeping the Donnelly tradition alive having started his career right back where it all began in Crandall Hall living across the hall from where I lived and met this beautiful girl with long curly hair walking around in these funny Lion King slippers that would roar with every step she took.
