Established in honor of Rick McCarthy's induction into the Eastern Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008. McCarthy was the first Head Coach of Men's Lacrosse at Eastern and served in that capacity from 1995- 2002. During his tenure as Eastern's Head Lacrosse Coach, McCarthy compiled an overall record of 91-19 including six league championships and was named Pilgrim League Coach of the Year three times. The fund will be used for things such as gear, travel, events, stipends for assistant coaches and more.
