This fund was started by Dr. Barbara Tucker in 2018 to support the History Department in two important ways:

1. John Fox Slater Fund for Historical Research for eligible Assistant Professors for their research and covers expenses related to travel, books, microfilm and copying expenses but not for hardware such as computers or cameras.
2. The Digital History Lab allows students to develop their digital skills while taking digital history courses and have lab space.

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
