The purpose of this fund is to provide operational support (funding) for ongoing career fairs and student career development initiatives by the Office of Career Success to include the following:

1. Women in Business Conference or Luncheon: working on resume reviews, interview prep, elevator pitches for female business students or could expand outside of business majors.
2. Athlete Networking Night: athletes can network with companies when they may not able to attend a regularly scheduled career fair due to athletic commitments; could also include resume reviews, interview prep, etc.
3. Mocktail Night: students may face a happy hour networking event at their company; practicing networking with mocktails.
4. Professional attire for students as they attend interviews
5. Career Readiness Conference
6. Career Expo for first year students
7. Employer Appreciation Day
8. LEAP events that expose juniors and seniors to successful Eastern alumni (one or two per fiscal year)
9. Transportation costs for Eastern students who have interviews lined up for full-time jobs and internships but do not have access to a car

Students are encouraged to file the FAFSA by March 1
