KPE Students Win College Bowl at National Convention
A team of kinesiology and physical education students from Eastern Connecticut State University won the first College Bowl at the SHAPE (Society of Health and Physical Educators) National Convention, held in Boston from March 14-18. Competing against 15 other schools, Eastern students Taylor Savage, Emily Burg and Ryan Ferrer brought home the first-place award. They were accompanied by Michelle Ferrer and Darren Robert, professors in Eastern’s Kinesiology and Physical Education Department.
