Acclaimed Author of African Literature Speaks at Eastern

With the spring 2015 semester coming to an end, the Department of English at Eastern Connecticut State University brought acclaimed Nigerian author Okey Ndibe to speak on campus. Ndibe is the author of “Arrows of Rain” and “Foreign Gods,” which he read excerpts from during his presentation. Ndibe now lives in West Hartford, where he is a dedicated advocate for African literature and campaigns tirelessly so that the voices of Africans can be heard.
