Joel Rosiene

Biography

Professor Rosiene is an expert in applying computer science to solve real-world problems. Prior to joining Eastern, he worked at Anteon Corporation on projects for consumer electronics firms and the U.S. military.

Dr. Rosiene earned his BS-EE and BS-CE, M.S. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Connecticut.

Of Note

Professor Rosiene has been a visiting research faculty at the University of California-San Diego in the Department of Electrical Engineering and has supported research in the areas of underwater acoustic video communications for the U.S. military. Recently he has been a co-PI with the University of Connecticut for the construction of a Cyber Security Virtual Laboratory.
