Darren Robert

Biography

Dr. Robert is exemplary teacher having won Connecticut's University Teacher of the Year Award in his field. His interests are in Physical Education Pedagogy (Early Childhood and Elementary), Motor Development, and Teacher Certification. Dr. Robert received a B.S. from Eastern Connecticut State University, a M.S. for West Virginia University in Teacher Education, and an Ed.D. from West Virginia University in Pedagogy and Early Childhood Motor Development.

Of Note

Dr. Robert led two teams of Eastern Physical Education Majors to the SHAPE America National Convention in Tampa Florida, where they placed First and Third in a national competition. This is the second National Championship Eastern has won in three years (they did not compete in the second year.)
