Dr. Lanagan-Leitzel is a cognitive psychologist whose research focuses on attention, memory, decision-making, and visual search and surveillance in applied settings, especially lifeguarding. She earned her M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Cognitive Psychology from the Pennsylvania State University.
