Dr. Hulvey is a mycologist and plant pathologist, with a research focus on fungal diseases of plants and fungicide resistance. Before coming to Eastern, Dr. Hulvey was a member of the research faculty at the University of Massachusetts Amherst and adjunct professor at Holyoke Community College. He earned his Ph.D. in Genome Science and Technology from the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
