Daniel Donaghy is an accomplished poet and scholar of twentieth-century literature and culture. He has a Ph.D. in English from the University of Rochester, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing (Poetry) from Cornell University, an M.A. in English from Hollins College (now University), and a B.A. in English from Kutztown University. He has received Eastern's Board of Regents Teaching Award and its CSU Norton Mezvinsky Trustees Research Award.
Daniel Donaghy has published hundreds of poems and several short stories in leading literary journals including The Southern Review, Missouri Review, Antioch Review, Notre Dame Review, Prairie Schooner, Southern Humanities Review, Quarterly West, Cutthroat, Cimarron Review, Poet Lore, New Letters, Alaska Quarterly Review, Nimrod, Sou’wester, West Branch, Commonweal, Image, december, Fourteen Hills, River Styx, Paterson Literary Review, The Texas Review, Yarrow, and many others. His work has been featured on Poetry Daily, Verse Daily, and The Writers Almanac.
