Biography

Dr. Cowles research interests include insect-based toxicology and the biochemistry of insecticide-plant interactions. Before coming to Eastern, Professor Cowles was a postdoctoral scientist at the UConn Health Center and the University of California, Riverside.  She earned her B.S. in biology from Cornell University and her Ph.D. in biochemistry from Michigan State University.
