Create an Eastern Email Signature
Add your details to this form to get your personalized email signature. The field values are only suggestions. Feel free to add anything to any of the fields.

Once you have filled out the form, click on the "Copy Signature to Clipboard" button to copy your new signature to your computer's clipboard then follow the instructions below to paste into Outlook or Apple Mail.

If you’d like to create an Alumni or Athletics email signature, please click the logo dropdown to change the signature style.

Email Signature Installation Instructions

    1. Fill out form above
    2. click on the "Copy Signature to Clipboard" button or highlight all of it and copy the contents of the email signature
    3. In Outlook select the gear icon settings (gear icon) then Account then click Signatures
    4. Click the "+ New Signature" button
    5. In the signature box, delete any content (including spaces)
    6. Paste the content of the email signature web page (that you copied in step 2)
      1. If the content shows up center aligned, highlight everything (click + drag or press CTRL+A until everything is highlighted) and choose "Align left" from the formatting options along the bottom of the editor window
    7. Edit the Name, Title, Phone & Fax Lines ONE AT A TIME so you don't lose the text formatting for each line
    8. Give the signature a name and then click Save at the bottom right
  • NOTE: you must go to the link below in Safari (not FireFox) to copy the signature before pasting it into Outlook 2011 (steps 1 & 2). Fill out and copy from form above

    1. Fill out form above

    3. In Outlook select Outlook > Preferences then click Signatures
    4. Click the "+" button found at lower left corner of the box
    5. In the signature box, delete any content (including spaces)
    6. Paste the content of the email signature web page (that you copied in step 2)
    7. Edit the Name, Title, Phone & Fax Lines ONE AT A TIME so you don't lose the text formatting for each line
    8. Rename the new signature to something like "External Signature"

    2. click on the "Copy Signature to Clipboard" button or highlight all of it and copy the contents of the email signature
    3. In Outlook 2010 select File > Options > Mail then click Signatures
    4. Highlight NEW MESSAGE, or create NEW MESSAGE
    5. Paste the content of the email signature web page (that you copied in step 2)
    6. Edit the Name, Title, Phone & Fax Lines ONE AT A TIME so you don't lose the text formatting for each line
    7. Click on OK
    8. You can then repeat these steps if you want to add the signature to your reply-forward emails
    1. Fill out form above
    2. click on the "Copy Signature to Clipboard" button or highlight all of it and copy the contents of the email signature
    3. In Outlook select Tools > Options > Mail Format Tab then click Signatures
    4. Click the New button
    5. Rename the new signature to something like "External Signature"
    6. From the New Message drop down (under "Select Default Signature") select the "UMC Standard" or whatever you have chosen to name your new signature
    7. In the signature box, delete any contents (including spaces)
    8. Paste the content of the email signature web page (that you copied in step 2)
    9. Edit the Name, Title, Phone & Fax Lines ONE AT A TIME so you don't lose the text formatting for each line
    10. Click on OK
    11. You can then repeat these steps if you want to add the signature to your reply-forward emails
