Dom Roberts is a graphic design creative and activist based out of Los Angeles, CA. In the wake of the killings of AhmaudArbery, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Dom noticed many people in her circles expressing a feeling of helplessness, and decided to use her platform and skills to engage with uncomfortable conversations—or, as she puts it: “Don’t ignore something because it makes you uncomfortable.” Dom’s work has captured the attention of stars like Viola Davis, Reese Witherspoon, and Sophia Bush, among others, who have shared her work on their own platforms to more than 30 million followers worldwide. As she continues to find creative ways to help people self-reflect, ask themselves the hard questions, and find the tools to take actionable steps forward, Dom is launching a podcast and has co-founded a collective, The Uncomfortable. When “The Uncomfortable Podcast with Dom Roberts” launches this year, Dom will be elevating Black voices, centered around “uncomfortable” conversations—including the racism and injustice that they experience on a daily basis. With The Uncomfortable, Dom is elevating Black artists and other creatives in the fashion space, and has committed to donating a percentage of profits from each new curated piece to various organizations centered around racial justice.
