It seems that we are in a time of panic, worry, sickness, and even death. We don’t have to let this virus take any more from us, and we shouldn’t allow the virus of fear to spread just as quickly. Every time you scroll through your phones, turn on the news, or go grocery shopping the virus seems to infect more and more people. We must not give in. Though it seems like this is a time of isolation, we can choose to make it a time of convergence. We may be apart, but this is the time to come together and repair relationships, develop new skills, and make a major comeback from a minor setback. So, I urge you to be alert, not fearful, to wake up during these tragic moments to what’s important and tell someone you care for them. Whether through meditation, laughter, dance, and hygiene we conquer not only this coronavirus, but this virus of fear. Know that though we are socially distanced, you are not alone, and we are all in this together.
