Waking up to another day of uncertainty and then going straight back to bed. Trying to use this time to feel productive in the things that interest us the most, but we are tired. Supporting one another is the most important thing we can do during this time of uncertainty. There is no need to feel that you aren't being "productive" enough — we are in the middle of a global pandemic.
Take this time to love yourself and those around you. Take this time to sleep in and watch movies. Take this time to thank those on the front lines; those in the medical field, grocery store clerks, child care workers, bankers and construction workers.
If that is all you accomplish, then we're all proud. There is no need to feel that this is the time to learn a language or perfect a new recipe. Don't put yourself down for any reason because no one signed up for this. There is no right or wrong way to take this all in. We need to focus on protecting the vulnerable and those putting their safety on the line for the entire community. We all move at such a fast pace and this is your moment to move at whatever pace you need. Just take a breath and stay safe, stay home.”
