In Fall 2022, the ART 432 Eastern Design Group class worked on creating advertising content for The Eastern Connecticut Center for Art, History, and Performance in Willington, CT, including a series of branded social media posts, web banners, and marketing email templates. As a Senior Capstone course, the students were engaged in the design process and delivered versatile visual solutions to this comprehensive design project. Students demonstrated their abilities to engage in independent inquiry, apply critical thinking skills, communicate ideas effectively in oral and written form, understand the ethics of the design profession, be able to seek and apply new knowledge relevant to professional projects and reflect upon their work as an outcome of their course work and their liberal arts education.
