Megan (Erickson) ’08 and Eric O’Toole ‘08

I met Megan on the last day of freshman year in Mead Hall when I was packing up my things to leave for the summer. I offered to carry a box for her as she was packing her car to go home and we started dating after that. We dated on and off for the next few years and in 2011 I proposed to her in the Waterbury Hospital, while we were waiting for my father to recover from a traumatic injury. We got married in 2012 and went to Disney World on our honeymoon! Our daughter Emerson arrived on Sept. 15, 2014. Megan is a financial analyst for Webster Bank and I have been a physical education teacher at Derby High School for the past seven years. We had the best time of our lives at Eastern and we will always have a special place in our hearts for the University!
