Eastern students enjoy a broad range of on-campus experiences designed to promote academic, social, and personal development. Student Activities staff work with other offices in the Division of Student Affairs, as well as faculty and housing staff, to provide an integrated student life program.

‘Voting Matters’ campaign aims to increase voter turnout among students

 September 18, 2024

Eastern Connecticut State University will host a series of events throughout the month of October aimed at inspiring student participation in the 2024 presidential election. Kicking off Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. with a panel of political experts in the Fine Arts Instructional Center Concert Hall, the “Voting Matters” extravaganza intends to grow voter registration and turnout among college students, a historically underrepresented group in elections.

Crowds of students congregated outside of the Student Center on Sept. 4 to attend Eastern Connecticut State University’s annual Student Involvement Fair and President’s Picnic. The fair highlighted the campus’ various clubs and organizations, including academic, cultural, leadership, service, recreational and sports clubs.
