CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR

ADMISSION TO EASTERN!

Dare to be extraordinary at Eastern Connecticut State University. It's a place where a love of learning is palpable - and the drive to make a difference is even more so. You are officially on your way to becoming a Warrior! This guide will help ensure that you are fully prepared for the start of the fall 2024 semester. All you have to do is follow these steps:

  • Take a moment to enjoy this incredible accomplishment! We are thrilled for you to join the Eastern Family. We encourage you to join us for an Accepted Student Day or Tour; you may register at www.easternct.edu/visit.
  • To accept your award, go to https://aim.applyists.net and log in to your account. You will be taken directly to your home page (if not, click the tab for "Home"). Click on the program name to expand the box below, containing the link to an Acceptance form. Then, click on the link to be taken directly to your Acceptance form. Complete all required field, upload nay required materials, and click "Submit".

Students have until April 4 to accept the Opportunity Scholarship. It is important to accept your scholarship regardless of your plans to attend the University in the fall.  If you are waiting to hear back regarding the National Scholarship, it is still recommended to accept the Opportunity Scholarship. Accepting the scholarship keeps your options open.

Once you have accepted the scholarship, your deposits will be paid for. You are not responsible for the $450 tuition and housing deposit.

  • Your Office 365 e-mail account is the primary source of communication between you and Eastern. Prior to arriving to campus, you will receive emails to inform you about enrollment. View instructions on how to activate your Office 365 account; please refer to the credentials in your portal for your Eastern ID and email address.
  • Visit Housing & Residential Life's website for detailed application instructions after accepting your scholarship. You are not required to submit the housing deposit. On the housing application, you may rank your top three residence halls.

First-year students: Click here for a brief overview of the different residence hall options available for first-year students.

Transfer students: Transfer students are typically placed in Occum Hall.

Building assignments begin in mid-April. Be sure to check your Eastern email account for updates.

Please note that the housing rates for our residence halls vary. The scholarship covers the full cost of living on campus, regardless of the building you are placed in.

  • First-Year Students:

On May 28, you will receive information from the Advising Center regarding fall course registration and a link to your First Year Preference Survey. This survey will need to be completed by June 7. The Advising Center will use your responses to register you for your fall classes; you do not need to register yourself.

Please see this page for more information about advising and registration.

    Transfer Students:

Please contact the Advising Center for assistance with registering for courses. They may be reached at (860) 465-4526 or advise@easternct.edu.

  • In late spring, the Office of Opportunity Programs will follow up with details regarding your travel arrangements and assistance you may need. A survey will be sent to your Eastern e-mail and it should be completed as soon as possible.

Your scheduled move-in date is Friday, August 23. Continue to check your Eastern email with further details on move-in procedures from your Scholar Advisor.
