Initial steps to take when you begin planning a Global Field Course:
- Review a draft of the 2024-25 Guidelines Document
- To see what the application involves, can view a PDF version of the Global Field Course Proposal Form here
- Conceptualize course and discuss with Department Chair and Department Scheduler (To apply, you will need program description, syllabus, approximate travel itinerary, and budget). Approval will be required from Department Chair, Dean, Global Learning Coordinator, and Provost.
- Create initial travel itinerary with dates using the Itinerary Template
- Use internet resources and Travel Service Provider estimates to create an initial rough Budget Sheet
- When you're ready to apply, complete the Global Field Course Proposal Form
