Objectives of Field Education
Upon completion of the field practicum experiences each student will be able to:

 

1. Demonstrate professional behaviors
2. Demonstrate awareness of self and seek continuous professional growth
3. Effectively apply social work knowledge and skills to practice
4. Demonstrate social work values and ethics
5. Demonstrate non-oppressive social work practice

Exploratory Field Work

20 hours per semester (either Fall or Spring)

Community Practice Field Work

50 hours per semester (Spring semester)

Senior Field Internship

400 hours (200 hours in Fall and Spring semester)
